Julie Raynes is responsible for driving donor fundraising activities and revenue income streams directed towards research and other front line patient services.
Julie joined the team in October 2017 and has extensive business development, fundraising and relationship management experience. She has worked in a broad base of industries including corporate, media, not-for-profit and the disability sectors including Autism SA, Guide Dogs SA/NT and Mission Australia.
Julie was born in Adelaide and lives with her partner and has ‘fur and feather’ kids (dogs, cat, galah and Major Mitchell Cockatoo). Let’s just say, she lives in a very ‘loud and colourful’ household!
In her spare time, Julie enjoys volunteering, gardening, going to the movies and catching up with family and friends. To keep active she likes to walk her woofas and goes to yoga.
Julie believes strongly that everyone should have the opportunity to participate in the community and be treated with dignity and respect. She is passionate about making a difference and giving back to the community.
Julie considers it a privilege to be working in such a rewarding role and looks forward together with the support from donors, raising much needed funds to support the Royal Adelaide Hospital and life-changing medical research.
