Donate Life Week
Today marks the beginning of Donate Life Week. It’s run every year to create awareness about organ and tissue donation and encourage Australians to make a real difference by registering to be a donor.
Around 600 people are currently waitlisted for a transplant in Australia*. While most Australian’s support organ and tissue donation, only one in three people have joined the Australian Organ and Tissue Register.
